Elevene fra British International Schools of Stavanger gikk av med seieren med prosjektoppgaven «AI enhaced Oil Recovery and Cleanup Autmonomous (ORCA) system prototype with LiDAR-bBased navigation and Olephilic optimization». Aaryan Pallan og Chris Paul satt problemet med oljesøl i havet på agendaen, og hadde i løpet av det siste halvåret utviklet en prototype som skulle fjerne sølet.
Rhea Thomas kom på andre plass med sitt bidrag «Mitigating Eutrophication in Norwegian Waters» og Kasun Siriwardane sitt bidrag «Framework for an Integrated Hydrogel-Enhanced Permeable Pavement System for Urban Flood Prevention on Sloped Roads in Stavanger» ble tildelt tredje plass.

Vinneren av den norske finalen får æren av å representere Norge i den internasjonale finalen i Stockholm i august!
Prisen ble delt ut i forbindelse med markeringen av Verdens vanndag og den Internasjonale bredagen på Klimahuset på Naturhistorisk museum på Tøyen i Oslo 21. mars.
Her er juryens begrunnelse:
This year we have had three very well qualified candidates. They are chosen from seven contrubutions from three different schools. They have all worked with important and relevant topics, and conveyed big thoughts for future problem solving.
All three projects have shown an impressive degree of creativity and high scientific level and well written reports. Yesterday we were presented three inspiring oral presentations.
It was a though decision to make, to range the three contributions, but we had to do it.
The winner contribution is innovative, the explanations given in the presentation, of both the project, the research questions and the problems met on the way were delivered in an inspiring manner. Combination of enthusiasm and joy of problem solving, with practical and theoretical knowledge was decisive for the jury.

Norsk vannforening og Norsk Hydrologiråd arrangerer Juniorvannprisen som et samarbeidsprosjekt. Vitensenteret Inspiria er medarrangører og finalen avholdes i deres lokaler i Sarpsborg.
